Mission
Our mission is to create a community that is free from stigma towards substance use disorder by bridging the gap between addiction and recovery through education, advocacy, and awareness. JARC aims to be a strong voice for the individuals and families in long-term recovery, ensuring a strong, healthy, and productive community.
Vision
Our vision is to eliminate the negative perception of addiction and enhance the face of recovery through community outreach with the goal of saving lives and families through advocacy and awareness of recovery from substance use disorder.
JARC has multiple events throughout the year. Activities and events will be listed on the NEWS AND EVENTS page. There are ample opportunities to get involved and volunteer!

Did you know that Home of New Vision and JARC are looking for guest speakers to share the resources they offer to the community? We are looking for recovery-friendly landlords, employers, agencies, and community members that are allies of the recovery movement.
Come and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and join others in recovery sharing their experience, strength and hope.
Swing Into Recovery
Every September we at JARC host a softball game between us and the MDOC (Michigan Department of Corrections). This event is open to all community members. Lunch is provided after the game! Join us!
