Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are conducting health screenings of all individuals who come to the Center. Staff is cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces that are touched on a daily basis. Staff is wearing PPE and giving masks to clients. We are still open 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.
The Engagement Center is a short-term crisis intervention facility that provides a supervised, supportive setting for individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. As an alternative to emergency room care, the Engagement Center is aimed at clients who require observation for safety in an appropriate setting. It is a safe, clean, welcoming environment where clients can stabilize, have a meal, take a shower, and talk to caring staff and volunteers about their situations.

The Engagement Center staff conducts a needs assessment for each client and helps the client make a recovery plan. The plan addresses the client’s substance use disorder, as well as other needs such as housing, food, clothing, and medical and mental health care. Clients receive information on and assistance in obtaining treatment funding and referrals, as well as linkages to other recovery resources.
The Engagement Center is open 24 hours per day, seven days per week and provides services for adults 18 years of age and older.
