While some individuals are able to meet recovery needs solely through involvement with peers and support groups, many require education, training, and therapy provided by trained professionals in order to sustain recovery. Home of New Vision offers Outpatient Treatment to people diagnosed with substance use disorders which is designed to help them meet their recovery goals.
This program assists individuals in identifying thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and experiences that impact recovery efforts. Each individual works with a Master’s level credentialed addictions therapist to identify goals, establish a plan to achieve those goals, and to review progress against goals. Clients are educated regarding the nature of addiction, trigger identification and avoidance, symptoms of relapse, and relapse avoidance techniques. We employ a variety of treatment models based on the particular needs of the individual, all of which are designed to empower the individual and capitalize on his or her strengths. We recognize that each client is unique, and listen carefully to the views of each client, acknowledging the expertise of the person served in identifying his or her needs.
Individuals participating in Outpatient Treatment will attend groups, some of which are gender-specific, as well as individual therapy that will assist them in building a strong foundation for recovery and a substance-free lifestyle. This program includes pre-recovery services such as intake and assessment, engagement and early intervention services and treatment, and sustained recovery activities. We also provide case management and peer recovery supports as needed.
This program consists of weekly groups. Nine hours of groups that are designed to address the multiple needs of individuals in early recovery. MAT welcome.
